How to join a Meeting with Rajee via Zoom App

Interactions with Rajee during a Meeting are only possible via Zoom App. Please read the following instructions carefully before joining a Saturday Meeting with Rajee.

Important
Meetings with Rajee are broadcasted, recorded and might be shared via Social Media channels (Facebook, YouTube etc.). If you do not want your video/audio to be recorded and shared, please know that this is your responsibility to turn your video/audio off at the beginning of the meeting and keep your video/audio off during the meeting.

It is advisable to join Meetings with Rajee if possible via computer/laptop because of the bigger screen.

Settings (for computer/laptop only)
For a good audio quality during the Saturday Meeting with Rajee, please take care of the following Zoom settings:

  1. Open the Zoom app and click on „Settings“ in the right upper corner.
  2. Choose „Audio“ on the top navigation.
  3. Click check box next to “Automatically adjust microphone settings”
  4. Click check box next to „Always mute microphone when joining Meeting“.
  5. Click check box next to „Press and hold SPACE key to temporarily unmute yourself’“. (It allows you to speak only when SPACE key is pressed.)

Joining Saturday Meeting with Rajee

  1. Write an email to joyofclarity.team@gmail.com latest by Friday 4pm to get the one time registration link for the next Saturday Meeting.
  2. After your registration the Zoom credentials will be posted in the Saturday Meeting Telegram group usually on Friday by 9pm IST.
  3. At the day of the Meeting: Sign into Zoom.
  4. Click the meeting link or enter the Meeting number (The Meeting number is the number in the end of the Zoom link, i.e. https://zoom.us/j/123456789 where 123456789 is the Meeting number).
  5. Enter your Zoom display name you have sent us in order to be able to join the Saturday Meeting.
  6. Wait in the Waiting Room till you get admitted to the meeting.
  7. If you want to talk to Rajee, please use the Zoom option “raise your hand” or write to Rajee in the Zoom chat (make sure you choose “Rajee” in the chat, not “everybody”). Once Rajee invites you to speak, unmute your microphone and speak. Please mute yourself IMMEDIATELY when you don’t speak. It is best done by using SPACE bar setting on computer or manual muting if joining from mobile.
  8. If you have technical problems during the Meeting, please write to “JOC Team” in the Zoom chat.
  9. If the internet connection breaks on your side, you can join the Meeting again, once the internet is back.
  10. If the Internet connection breaks from Rajees side, you can wait till he is back online.

Zoom Troubleshooting

If you have problems joining a Zoom Meeting with Rajee, please follow these steps:

  1. Log out from zoom.
  2. Log in to zoom.
  3. Click “Join”
  4. Enter the meeting number (which was shared in the group)
  5. Enter your zoom name
  6. Click submit
  7. Enter the passcode (which was shared in the group)
  8. Click submit.

If Zoom shows the error “wrong password, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you have types the correct password (copy & paste sometimes does not work).
  2. If you are using an Android phone, please go to your phone settings, then click “Apps”, then click “Zoom” and empty the cache for the application.

If you cannot unmute yourself or you are unable to switch on your camera, please follow these steps:

  1. Log out from zoom.
  2. Restart your device (computer, phone etc.).
  3. Log in to zoom.
  4. Click “Join”
  5. Enter the meeting number (which was shared in the group)
  6. Enter your zoom name
  7. Click submit
  8. Enter the passcode (which was shared in the group)
  9. Click submit.
